Green Chutney Recipe | Sandwich Chutney

Today, I will share the most famous Green Chutney recipe which is very versatile  in its use. It is a great Spread for making plain or Cheesy Sandwiches, a good accompaniment for South Indian Tiffin items and I also use it to coat Panner and make a Quick tikka. So, I always make sure this Green Chutney is available at home all time. It stores well for upto a week. So, it comes handy during most busy weekdays. Lets check out the recipe!

Wk 3 - Day 3
Dips,Chutneys & Spreads

Mint leaves - 1bunch, cleaned & washed
Coriander leaves - 1bunch, cleaned & washed

Roasted peanuts - 1/2 cup
Salt - As needed
Ice cubes - As needed for blending
Lemon juice - 1tblsp

Method:-

Take all the above ingredients, except lemon juice in a blender and blend well into a smooth mixture. Use ice cubes to enhance the colour of this Chutney.

Lastly, add in the lemon juice. This retains the Green colour of the Chutney.

  7. The addition of peanuts must give this chutney a nice, nutty creaminess. Beautiful color.
