Pizza Dosa | Easy Dosa Recipe

When I thought about Tawa recipes, this Pizza Dosa was the first one to come to my mind. Though I do this often for my kids, I have'nt yet posted on the blog. It is one such easy and absolutely delicious Dosa which can be relished by all. During evenings, my little girl herself does this Pizza Dosa with variations according to her liking for a filling meal. You can use any spicy chutney or spread or just Idli Podi as the spread and also use whatever veggies available at home according to your liking. Only thing which one should note is that this Pizza Dosa should be spread thinly and must be cooked covered. This Dosa should not be flipped like the regular Dosa as the Cheese sticks to the skillet and messes up. Try this one and you will sure go for it often!

Vegan Pancake Recipe

Coming next on Tawa recipe series is a healthy, vegan Pancake made with Organic Wholewheat flour, almond milk and flax meal. I reduced the maple syrup and have added some choco chips to make more kids-friendly. Wholewheat flour imparts a lovely nutty flavour while the flax meal makes the Pancake very soft and fluffy. Since this Pancake is high in fiber and protein, it is likely to stick with you until lunch. Come, lets make some Pancakes now!

Fruity Ice Lollies | Homemade Ice Lolly Recipe

Summer is round the corner and I was waiting to try this special Homemade Fruity Ice Lolly which I had bookmarked from a Cookbook. The picture was so lovely and attracted me instsntly. When I flipped to the recipe, it was even more interesting as it used fresh fruit purees to make this delicious Ice Lollies which would definitely delight my DH and kids. All of us love fruits and I should give a thumbs to DH and kids who enjoy trying different seasonal fruits. So, as expected, it was not surprising that they loved these Ice Lollies so much and relished all the fruity flavours in it. It is just as cool as putting the ingredients together, but the setting time for each layer is about 2hrs. Only this is little difficult if doing 2-3 layers with different fruits. But, for those doing during daytime, that should'nt be a task. As I did at night after work, I set alarm once in 2hrs at night and woke up to fill the second and third layer and left it to set thoroughly. But, since Iam doing the theme of Colourful dishes under Kids' Delight hosted by Varada for Blogging Marathon this week, I did'nt want to compromise on that. But, every bit of effort was worth it and it turned out fabulous. Perfect for small kids party too!

1-min Chocolate Mug Cake | Microwave Chocolate Cake

When I came across this recipe at Chitrasfoodbook, was extremely  fascinated by the quick process and the way the cake had turned out. It looked very tempting and I could feel the spongy texture through her pics. I was waiting to try this soon and that day was not long. On a Sunday afternoon, I was craving for something sweet and I got reminded of this 1-min cake. That would be the best bet as I wanted to whip up something quick and at the same time, the calorie - conscious me wanted to have portion control too. This cake would satisfy both. So went ahead and wow....that was a really delicious, spongy  cake with loads to chocolate chips and we all relished every bite of it. DH and kids were really fascinated when they came to know that itFrom then on, I would tweak the base recipe with different flavours and every time, it has come out great!!Please do try for yourself to believe!
